Free Magmas
نویسنده
چکیده
This article introduces the free magmaM(X) constructed on a set X [6]. Then, we formalize some theorems aboutM(X): if f is a function from the set X to a magma N , the free magmaM(X) has a unique extension of f to a morphism ofM(X) into N and every magma is isomorphic to a magma generated by a set X under a set of relators on M(X). In doing it, the article defines the stable subset under the law of composition of a magma, the submagma, the equivalence relation compatible with the law of composition and the equivalence kernel of a function. We also introduce some schemes on recursive function.

COMPARING THE EFFECTS OF H2O, F, AND Cl ON NEAR-LIQUIDUS PHASE EQUILIBRIA OF A MODEL HIGH-Fe BASALT: IMPLICATIONS FOR VOLATILE INDUCED MANTLE
Introduction: Volatile species, such as H2O, CO2, F, and Cl, are important in the generation and differentiation of basaltic melts. On the Earth, dissolved H2O (or in certain circumstances CO2) is thought to be the dominant volatile in most basaltic magmas. Therefore, significant effort has been placed on understanding how water and CO2 affect basalt genesis and crystallization of terrestrial m...
متن کاملOrigin of magmas in subduction zones: a review of experimental studies
Studies of the origin of magmas in subduction zones, particularly in the Japanese island arc, have been significantly advanced by petrological, geochemical, geophysical and experimental studies during last 50 years. Kuno's original model(1)) for magma generation in the Japanese island arc, that tholeiite magmas are formed at relatively shallow levels in the mantle on the Pacific Ocean side wher...
متن کاملMagmas Overexpression Inhibits Staurosporine Induced Apoptosis in Rat Pituitary Adenoma Cell Lines
Magmas is a nuclear gene that encodes for the mitochondrial import inner membrane translocase subunit Tim16. Magmas is overexpressed in the majority of human pituitary adenomas and in a mouse ACTH-secreting pituitary adenoma cell line. Here we report that Magmas is highly expressed in two out of four rat pituitary adenoma cell lines and its expression levels inversely correlate to the extent of...
متن کاملRole of Magmas in protein transport and human mitochondria biogenesis
Magmas, a conserved mammalian protein essential for eukaryotic development, is overexpressed in prostate carcinomas and cells exposed to granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF). Reduced Magmas expression resulted in decreased proliferative rates in cultured cells. However, the cellular function of Magmas is still elusive. In this report, we have showed that human Magmas is an ...
متن کاملCrustal thickness control on Sr/Y signatures of recent arc magmas: an Earth scale perspective
Arc magmas originate in subduction zones as partial melts of the mantle, induced by aqueous fluids/melts liberated by the subducted slab. Subsequently, they rise through and evolve within the overriding plate crust. Aside from broadly similar features that distinguish them from magmas of other geodynamic settings (e.g., mid-ocean ridges, intraplate), arc magmas display variably high Sr/Y values...
متن کاملPreferential Assimilation Due to Melt-rock Reaction in the Lunar Mantle: a Laboratory and Ophiolite Field
Introduction: Assimilation has been called upon in numerous occasions to explain various petrologic and geochemical observations of the igneous rocks on the Moon. A well known example is the assimilation of ilmenite-bearing late cumulates (and KREEP) to the low Ti primary magmas at shallow levels, that has been used to explain the high Ti magmas observed on the lunar surface [1]-[3]. An alterna...
